Mini EMpowered runs in a dedicated space at OEC Sheffield, giving plenty of room for children and staff.

Advance notice is required
Because we maintain staff-to-child ratios, we need to know in advance if you're planning to use Mini EMpowered. You'll be asked to confirm your child's name and age on your pre-event form, sent to all ticket holders closer to the event.
Please don't just turn up on the day without letting us know in advance. You are welcome to pop in and check on your child at any time throughout the day.
What to bring
Mini EMpowered provides the space, activities and qualified SEND specialist staff. Please bring everything your child needs for a full day:
- Nappies and wipes (if applicable)
- Food and snacks - clearly labelled
- Milk or formula (if applicable)
- Comfort items - favourite toy, blanket, dummy
- Change of clothes
- Any medication (with clear written instructions)
- Buggy or pram if needed - storage available
Activities
Our staff are experienced, warm and brilliant with children of all ages and temperaments.

- Quiet corner - books, puzzles and calm activities
- Sleep space - cots and sleep mats available
- Age-appropriate toys and equipment throughout

Mini EMpowered exists because being a mum is never a reason you can't be in the room. You deserve to be here. Your children are welcome. We'll look after them.
